Instagram is a great platform for your business to inform and interact with your followers. In this article, I will go over a couple simple strategies to convert your followers on Instagram into leads.

#1 Instagram bio for Lead Generation

Instagram does not allow you to link back to your site with each post. This is a major difference from other social networks like Facebook and Twitter. The link that you’re allowed to use when setting up your profile is gold for collecting leads. Make sure it counts. Your profile should include:

A Clean Profile Image: Choose an image that is relevant to your brand or business and easy to identify.

Bio: Your bio should explain who you are, what you do, and why users should be interested in your business. Make sure you include a call-to-action to drive leads to your site.

Bio link: The link should point directly to where you want your users to go. You could direct them to your website with the strategy of retargeting them with ads on Facebook. Another strategy is driving users to a page where they can schedule a phone call or consult with you.

#3 Share Instagram Stories

Instagram Stories are a great way to generate leads. One of the most common examples is the use of the “swipe up” feature that drives viewers to a specific link. However, the feature is currently only available to accounts with 10,000 followers or more. But smaller business can still use Instagram stories to generate leads. Proper CTA's implemented in your stories will still be effective.
